BA Hons, RSSW, CH
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with a background in Gestalt Therapy, Social Work, Solution Focused Therapy, Expressive Arts therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I partner with individuals through authentic relating, compassion, curiosity, awareness, self expression, advocacy, and solution building, integrating whatever modalities are best suited to your needs.
I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, feminist (intersectional) and person-centered perspective and strive to create an open and unassuming space by showing up as myself, and by inviting my clients to show up as themselves.
I consider myself to be a mental health advocate and am invested in de-stigmatizing mental health concerns and challenging normative standards of wellness. I support you to better accept and embrace yourself, honor the challenges you have faced and survived, and bring yourself more fully to the world in a way that makes sense for you.
I work with people from diverse communities around experiences of Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Relationship Challenges with a focus on increasing self-awareness, self-worth, creativity, joy, and healthy boundaries. Other areas of my practice include supporting those with symptoms of C-PTSD, Developmental Trauma, and Substance/Drugs/Medication use (harm reduction approach).
My clients are often creative, introspective, and looking to reconnect with their gifts and skills or seeking new ways to support themselves as they navigate this challenging world we live in.
Feel free to reach out for a 20 minute consultation at no charge to see if we might be a good fit! If for any reason we aren't, I'm happy to support you in finding appropriate referrals and resources in the community.
