Mike Stroh is a Master’s (Candidate) in the Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. He is joining Men Therapy Toronto as a Professional Master’s Practicum Student and working under the direct clinical supervision of Eric Pierni CSAT RP. Mike draws on a variety of skills to help and encourage men to free themselves from the behaviours that prevent them from being the person they want to be.
Drawing from personal experience, mindfulness training, and group facilitation skills, Mike likes to work with men struggling with addiction (specializing in cannabis), anxiety, and those having difficulty in their marriage or settling into a committed relationship.
One particular aspect Mike enjoys, is to help people find meaning and purpose in their life, ultimately helping them to stop seeking validation from their job, status, possessions, or what they did in the past.
Mike is a father of two young kids, a husband, and the founder of Starts With Me a consultancy business specializing in k-12 education and workplace mental health.
