The tightness in your chest, knots in your stomach and the stories your mind tells you have been getting out of hand lately. Your efforts to control your anxiety haven’t been working the way you’d like, and you’re left feeling like you just want to run away. Fear of making mistakes, saying the wrong thing, hesitating to take on new challenges, and the discomfort of feeling out of place have become too much. Common sense methods like trying to be rational or think positively only make it worse. Anxiety is holding you back from doing day-to-day things like going to work, dating or socializing, and life has become less enjoyable.
In our work together, you will learn a different way to respond to your anxiety, so that it no longer holds you back from living your life. You will learn how to detach from your anxiety and be kinder to yourself. You will feel more empowered to take chances, pursue hobbies and relationships, and go after your goals without anxiety getting in the way.
